Winter Out, Spring In

“Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come.” - Robert H. Schuller quotes (American Reformed Church Minister, Entrepreneur and Author)

Reminds me of Robert Frost's last poem, written two week before he died. His and Shuler's thoughts are two sides of the same coin:

In winter in the woods alone
Against the trees I go
I mark a maple for my own
And lay the maple low.

At four o'clock I shoulder axe
And in the afterglow
I link a line of shadowy tracks
Across the tinted snow

I see for nature no defeat
In one tree's overthrow
Or for myself in my retreat
For yet another blow.

Wonderful photographs. Are these what we Gujaratis call Kesudo? If yes, these flowers are used to make colors.

Lovely photos and great quote, Deepak

I am against cutting a tree anytime of the year...
But, patience -- I have my limits with it! :)

Storm is fine, so is spring :)
